If you're...

If you're...

If you're... by maartjerattestaartje

For I have to learn and find myself doing so many things to keep myself from it, here is another look! This time I really made the whole image myself, last time I used a 'template' which means I only made the outfit. But with this one I had to design and place everything myself and everything you see here once were loose pictures that I've brought together.... I am really satisfied whith the result (:
I hope you like it too,

When it's cold outside

When it's cold outside

When it's cold outside by maartjerattestaartje

As you can see, I've brought this blog alive again xD
This is because yesterday I've visited a school to which I want to go to when I've finished High School.
It's called the Willem de Kooning Academie and it is in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The study I want to follow there is called Lifstyle and Design, which trains me to be an all-aroud stylist.
But to be allowed to this school I'll need to have a portofolio, and I figured that parts of that could be the stuff  I put on this blog. So that's why I've finally made some time to create 'a set'. It's made on Polyvore.com, which is an incredible site I've found a while ago. On it you can create sets and collections! I really recommend it to you if you love fashion and love creating outfits (:

So, you'll hear from me more often I think!

Jason Mraz

image

Today it the 23th of june what means the birthday of my favourite artist! Jason Thomas Mraz. I can't explain how much I like him. He inspires me with his blog: http://freshnessfactorfivethousand.blogspot.com/. He has changed my view on life and love in a very positive way! And on top of that he is just an amazing music artist. His new album should be coming soon. My dreams would come true if I see him live. Just only thinking about that makes me crazy.

HAPPY 34TH BIRTHDAY! KEEP SPREADING YOUR LOVE!

Toy Story Aliens

I found this look I made once, which was inspired by the aliens of Toy Story! It's just inspired by the colors, and it isn't very wearable. But I like how it looks. I really don't know the exact products I've used.
You can click on the photo to enlarge it!

I know that I had used a white eyepencil by GOSH as a eyeshadowbase. Over that I put a mix of 2 greencolors of the 88 palette. And for the crease I used a little of a darker green shadow. Under my eye I used a blue eyeshadow, and just lined my eyes with a black eyepencil and added some mascara. Any highlight color would be great for the browbone.

It's pretty useless because I can't remember the product I used, but I just wanted to share this look with you. I have a lot of other bright eyelooks which I can blog about, but again I can't remember the products I used with that looks ;) This is just to show some fun looks!

Soccer

On sunday we spent the afternoon on the footbal field. There was a big girls tournament with all kinds of people from different countries. We had fun screaming and supporting my super sister (as seen on the picture). Although it ended with 0-0 it was nice to see my sister play.

By the way, nice move!

Urban Decay - Naked Palette

I didn't have some inspiration lately. But then I remembered that I didn't mention my Urban Decay Naked Palette. I bought it in Paris, and I was so excited about it. I love natural eyeshadows and this palette is full with natural colors. I made some photos of it, and I want to show you them.
The UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) came with the palette. I guess that I bought it for €40,-. I think that is very cheap, because there are 12 eyeshadows in it and a brush. And all of the shadows are well pigmentated. The packaging is made of a fabric and it's very soft. I don't have any palette with such a packaging, but it isn't very handy. Because the fabric attracts dirt, though it is easy to clean. Anyway, I also made some photos of the eyeshadows!
This is the first half of the row. Naked and Buck are both matte colors and great for in the crease to add some definition in your eye. The others have a little shimmer in it. Virgin and Sin are great at the browbone to highlight the eye.
This is the second half of the row. This row has more darker colors in it. Smog and Darkhorse are darkbrown colors with shimmer in it. Toasted and Hustle are more pink/purple colors and Creep and Gunmetal are black/grey colors. They all have shimmer in it and all have a great pigmentation.

I love the palette and I'm also very happy with the UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion). It keeps the eyeshadow stay at their place for the whole day and prevent them from creasing. It also brings the colors very well on the eyelid! I really recommend to try to buy this palette, because it's totally worth it.

the Garden

You can find these flowers in the green garden of my grandparents. I really love the colors and the blue sky. And last but not least the kissing bees!
